By collaborating in building the design system we may create more united user experiences across our services. It also may save time for you and other people that is using the design system. The design system is a common home for reusable components, best practices, patterns and more.

We love contributions!

Bifrost is built to grow over time, and we depend on your feedback to create a world dominant design system. If you are missing something in the Bifrost library or you’ve encountered a bug, we would love to hear about it.

Feature requests

Request a feature in our GitHub repository. Be as descriptive as possible, include all relevant examples, details, states, use cases, and link to figma if you have one.

Ideas for a component?

Components are the building blocks for Intility services. They are versatile and can be used in all types of projects. You can request new components or changes to existing components by using the feature request template above. Before requesting, you should consider the checklist below:

The component should...

  • Be as generic as possible, without losing its intention
  • Be possible to use in several projects
  • Make it easier for designer and developers

Bug reporting

First, check if a bug is already reported in our list of active issues.

If you don't find a relevant one, please create an isolated reproduction of the bug with CodeSandbox bifrost template, then file a new bug report in our github repo.

Code contributions

We also invite you to get directly involved with contributing code! Main devs on the project are Eric Morton, Linda Tran and Herman Jensen, you can find us on MS Teams or in the #design slack channel.
Also see Readme.md and Contributing.md in our repository.
